Children's Dentistry

Preventative dental care is a vital part of children’s dentistry.

Visiting with your child from as early as 6 months or as the first teeth appear helps to build a positive relationship between your child and their dentist.  Visiting at such a young age can allow for early detection of problems and can be beneficial to your child’s overall oral health.

Here at Bayswater Dental, we aim to make your child’s visit to the dentist enjoyable.  With children’s dentistry we work with your children to teach good oral hygiene routines, maintain oral health, identify and treat issues as early as possible and modify bad habits.

Most childrens dental appointments are 20 to 30 minutes long.  Just like an adult check-up, we perform preventative cleaning and adjunctive services such as sealants or fluoride, take necessary x-rays and review brushing and flossing habits with your child.
