Our practice operates on an appointment system and we endeavour to offer an appointment with the doctor of your choice at a time that is convenient to you.  Our appointments are 10-15mins:

Longer appointments are required for:

  • Complex or multiple issues
  • For each patient attending
  • All medicals
  • Paperwork for a 3rd party
  • Full health checks & care plans

To assist your doctor you can be prepared with:

  • What scripts & referrals are due
  • Have a clear idea of what you hope to cover
  • Ask the doctor to write down instructions or specific directions
  • Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to tell your doctor
  • Be actively involved in your health care, speak up if you have any concerns
  • DON’T lose your prescriptions or referrals. Reissuing these lost items detracts from our doctor consult time with their patients

Appointment Confirmation & Cancellations

Home Visits

Should you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, we would very much appreciate a courtesy phone call to let us know you will be unable to attend or no longer need to see your doctor.  This will allow us to allocate your appointment to someone else who needs it.

Can occur occasionally however there may be times when our doctors are unavailable to provide a home visit. Should this occur our locum service is: Fees may apply.

Urgent & Walk-In appointments

Hearing & Seeing Impaired Services

Patients who attend the surgery under emergency circumstances will receive priority attention.  Every effort will be taken to attend to patients with scheduled bookings as close to their appointment time as possible.  Your patience and understanding in such situations is very much appreciated.
Please be aware all patients who are seen without an appointment, including emergencies, will be privately billed
If you are hearing or seeing impaired, please advise our reception team when you make your appointment or on arrival at the surgery.  We will assess your needs to help communicate effectively with you.  Where possible, seeing the same doctor will help.
